Same bug here after upgrading Gutsy to Jaunty. The mouse clicks are disabled and nothing can be clicked. What it's strange is that the scroll button continues to work: I can scroll a page in firefox but cannot click anything. The only way to solve this is to reboot the machine. The bug seems to

Bug confirmed on Hardy Heron... I found a workaround for this issue: create a file .asoundrc in your homedirectory containing: pcm.!default { type plug slave { pcm spdif rate 48000 format S16_LE } } It initiates a route for PCM into spdif plugin (I guess).
