The system was suspended 20 minutes into the 9.10 update download since
the suspend setting was not deactivated during the distribution
update(!).
I then resumed the system and download and continued with the upgrade.
Now I have a somewhat broken system (xubuntu boot splash instead of the

I've just installed Skype on Linux Mint 7.0 and started it up, typed in
my username and password and then tried to click Sign in at the bottom
of the dialog.
To my surprise, the button isn't even clickable and there is no other
way to get the login going. I tried hitting

Now, if I uncheck both Enable bitmap caching AND Enable window
