Well, at first sight, I would to say I have the same bug with U12.04 LTS

I would just add the bug appears also when you create a new directory or for
existing directories.
I have just install U12.04, it is up to date, and I think a patch should be
released by the way of the Update manager especially for a LTS release
(Version 12.04 (precise) 64 bits Noyau Linux
Sorry, I mean: The options rename and suppress (=put in the trash)
appears in grey, but works, on directories too.

In each sheet, I define a print area with the command Format/Print
ranges/Define.
Then the print range parameters are linked to the sheet. This is great.

In my case, Ubuntu freezes but the mouse which moves properly. I can also open
the command dialog box with Alt-F2. The clock also is updated (22:36, 22:37,
...).
The freeze occurs when I open a menu of Openoffice (files, ... , help, ..).
When I click on the title , the menu is displayed,

During another attempt, the freeze is not total. Now, i can open a
gnome's menu: applications, links, system or activate a window with a
click on the task's bar.
