After xserver crash I have to press and hold key for a second to get a symbol

On kdm screen keyboard works correctly, when switching to virtual console - it

I think the key of a problem that in intrepid there is no relevant kcm
moduls: icons, style, colors
There is kcmshell for kde3-modules, there is some kde3-kcm moduls in
standalone packages: kcmnvview, kcmpureftpd and some others.

First accident was when I just upgraded to kde 4.1.1 2 days ago.
Until this moment Synaptic worked flawless.

It seems that bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166591 is fixed.
Upgraded to kmix 2.6.1 (KDE 3.5.10) - there is no any mixer to choose, see
attached screenshot.
dpkg-reconfigure linux-sound-base and activating Sound System from
Kcontrol didn't helped.
