I just got the kernel installed. As I'm doing this on a xenial-based
system there are some incompatibilities (it seems to be unable to load
modules, so GPU acceleration and internet stop working), but the
touchpad is definitely working again.

I installed 2:12.0.1-0ubuntu1 in bionic and was hit by high cpu load on neutron
and computes from neutron-linux-bridge-agent.
Neutron 12.0.1 contains the fix for bug 1745468, which unfortunately caused new

on Ubuntu 16.04, bumblebee testing and nvidia 3.75:
when choosing the nvidia gl driver from update-alternatives --config
x86_64-linux-gnu_gl_conf, gdm gets stuck in a start-crash loop at
startup, when choosing the mesa driver cuda applications do not work:

cuda applications will compile, but not run (error code 999) when I configure

When my boot partition overflowed i did uninstall older kernel versions.
Then i reinstalled the new kernel. After rebooting i got the error
message, when i logged into my sudo enabled account which i don't use
for daily work.
