I've just upgraded my ubuntu on my laptop from 7.10 to 8.04 and my wifi
stoped working, upon inspection i get this in my dmesg:

Upon checking in a CLI configuration (no network manager) the microcode

I've a nVidia GeForce 8400 GS and I use the nvidia-driver (from nvidia-
glx-new) for xserver-xorg. When I boot up my system with a WinTV TV-pci-

I have Kubuntu 7.10 installed, i got the beta-version long before the
real release of 7.10.
When i start the Adept Package Manager, there is the version-upgrade button.
But everytime i try this, he says to me: there are no upgrades for
josesuarez1983 is correct. This problem still persists for me. I
cannot connect to my hidden WEP-encrypted network, but as soon as I
unhide it, I can connect to it fine.
I'm running the latest Gutsy release with network-manager version
0.6.5-0ubuntu16. I've been working on this problem for
same problem here. I think there is a way to force overwrite, but I
don't know it.

I have the same problem: the normally blue title bar is often streaked
with white or is completely white. Kinda annoying, but not a huge deal.
This is happeneing with an Nvidia driver.

I have this issue too - not terribly often, but it happens. Firefox
sometimes greys out for a bit, which is normal, but sometime instead of
responding again with color, it responds still greyed out. A temporary
fix is to restart firefox.

This is happening for me too - with a Nvidia Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go
7300, and the latest restricted drivers. It only happened just after an
xgl and drivers update, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Attached is
the xorg.conf file.

I have the same issue.
I'm using Gutsy Tribe 2 and have an Intel 3945ABG internal card.
I cannot connect on any secured mode BUT I can connect on non-secure
wired mode, but NOT wireless.

I should also add that when hovering the mouse cursor over certain apps
(Firefox, most notably), the mouse cursor changes to the correct mouse
theme I have chosen. When I move the mouse cursor away from Firefox, the
cursor goes back to being the little black cursor.
