additional space is properly removed but perhaps it shouldn't be
introduced.

So, I tried to upload again from a folder that contained only that one
file and Firefox crashed. I guess that's bound to it's using Nautilus in

This bug from 2007 - I never did resolve this.. a few weeks later I had
what I took to be hardware problems, switched out both memory and
motherboard and still couldn't get a clean boot. Now on another base,
I've not seen this bug again.

Can you/could you see other players in multiplayer and the pickup items,
like weapons?
I had the same problem, not seeing other players/bots and items, the map
was fine on first glance but then turning quickly shows the graphics are

Creating a new user didn't change it.
The new user had still StumbleUpon, NoScript and Ubuntu Mod enabled by default.
I disabled each in turn and the problem remained.. even without all of them.

I wonder that I've used the 'Report a bug' function from the help menu and
surprised it's only noted openoffice and not more specific.

There is no crash report in /var/crash and I have only NoScript as an
addon.
However, trying again, I have reproduced this now three times today but
as before with a slight inconsistency.
