occurred at 12:53:08 according to the crash file.
Sorry, now I know what you mean: log messages from #3.
These appear at completely different times, so probably they are unrelated to
the crashes (see again syslog in #2). I mentioned them because they also
involve the intel graphics, so who knows...

I just found a workaround. The boot screen is linked to vt7, that's
where I'm asked for the passphrase. Keyboard input is taken from vt1. So
when I switch to vt1 (ALT+F1), enter the password there and press ENTER
and boots up as expected.

This is really just annoying. It does not really impair anything, a very
easy workaround is to temporarily switch to grid view and right-click on
an empty spot between the grid cells. Then you can make a new
file/folder.

Similar problem.
Kernel log (dmesg) doesn't contain the error message Queue 2 failed to
flush - but the ping probes show a repeating breaks.

solved the problem here.

Please increase the importance because due to this bug the wlan access
on notebooks with rt3290 based adapters is unusable.
The solution is well known an described in comment #5, #7 and #8 and has
been already integrated in older releases of ubuntu.
