Dear folks, I recently installed Kubuntu desktop packages in Ubuntu 10.04. I am
unable to connect to internet using my Nokia C3 mobile phone. There was no

Recently, I downloaded Ubuntu_11.04_beta2. But it is not upgrading 10.10. Do

anybody know how to upgrade to 11.04 from 10.10. I tried from terminal, Alt+F2,
and mounting ISO as cdrom. But all efforts are in vain.

my battery applet is missing in my laptop (Acer Aspire 4745), I was having
hopes
on 10.10, but I got disappointed. Previously I mean in Lucid my microphones
(Gnome-Sound-Recorder) was not working, but it was cured with 10.10.

I could not connect to Internet with my Micromax Q7 new mobile, when I am
connecting it detects modem, after all setup it does not connect to Internet. I

1) I installed Ubuntu 'Within Windows' (WUBI), because I have only one
partition, and I got a genuine Windows.
2) battery icon is not visible, then I went to Power Management from system
sub-menu, there I changed display option, the icon appears and
I had problem with connecting Internet through micromax Q7 (GPRS connection),
can anybody show me solution.

Dear friends,
recently I got a problem with TATA 3G device. I added it through
Network_Manager, some times it connects and some times doesn't connect. But
every time when delete from VPN connections (NMgr.) and add freshly it connects.
I was using Huawei 3G Modem even in Ethiopia, with ETC

I am using both wired and 3G with any problem, but when comes to Wireless, I
could not connect.
I don't see any applet activating by detecting signal, where in 3G connects
automatically.
