Mekan, I original used this solution before using usb-modeswitch,
however it had the side effect of not loading any USB storage devices.
usb-modeswitch works, but since using it, the connection is unstable on
an e1550, requiring reconnects and replugging in the device.

Sorry to re-open an old bug, not sure whether I should be doing this,
but I'm having this same issue on Ubuntu 10.04 x64.
I've just set up dual-monitors on a laptop with ATI graphics, and since
doing this, nautilus appears to hang on start up as the OP has
described. Can't right click on the

I can't get this to work. I get the following output on banshee

the preferences, and no graphical error is produced.

9 times out of 10 I miss the notification in the top right (in reference

This bug is occuring with me too. It's crashing every time I save after

This bug has NOT been fixed! I never actually experienced this in any
version prior to Jaunty.
I can reproduce it here: http://www.getdropbox.com/downloading
I'm downloading the x86_64 9.04 version.
I've already changed the firefox handler to /usr/bin/gdebi-gtk, which
helped reduce the problem
I've managed to patch the file, perform the modprobe etc, however I
cannot compile the PC application!

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: compiz-extra
After installing Ubuntu 8.10 (32bit), window previews in compiz don't
disappear after moving the mouse away from the task in the panel. They
will remain drawn on the screen until something else is painted over
them, such as another window
