Obviously, Even 5 years back laptops were rare, and costly. The drastic cutting down of the price naturally explains the shoddy quality of the hardware of most laptops. Doesnt matter which brand you get, they are all exactly the same these days. PS: Im typing this from a 2 year old acer laptop
