Rather than saving to the user's desktop, consider defaulting to the
user's XDG Documents directory. This helps keep the desktop spare,
increases simple discoverability and access using the Home function
from the file chooser (e.g. when attaching the PDF to email), and has a
localised pathname
Thank you for updating us. Can you use other music players while
playing flash videos? I'd like to know if it's just Amarok hijacking
the sound system or not.

Thanks, it does work now with the new intel xorg drivers from
http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/ppa/ubuntu, so this seems to be
related to the old intel drivers.

I have to add my 2c. Just got a new system. Installed ubuntu with
fakeraid. As above, have to type dmraid -ay at prompt and exit to
boot.
System otherwise runs fine.
Intrepid on 2.6.27-14 generic kernel.
I also had to manually load the modules during the installation process
(alt installer CD).
