I've installed samba and squid on ubuntu and had a problem with
authentication module, beacuse the script *smb_auth.sh* was trying to use
nmblookup at the path *$SAMBA_PATH/bin/nmblookup* , and smbclient at *
$SAMBA_PATH/bin/smbclient*.
The correct path for this programs in ubuntu is */usr/bin/nmb

Yesterday I did backports for the current pbuilder, devscripts, and
debootstrap so you can get Jaunty aware packages from hardy-backports and
intrepid-backports.
I successfully made a new Jaunty Pbuilder using these tools, so you should be
good to go.

What do you mean? The MOTU/Core Devs who advocate the package are in
no way responsible for it (at least not more than any other MOTU/Core
Dev).
