Thanks for the reply.
I really hoped we wouldn't hit that problem, but it looks like we do. It
was the reason why I appended the "if it's doable". ;)

Thanks, Alan!
I already posted this on G+ but as everything started here I think it makes
sense to mention it on the mailing list as well: in my opinion a
mirscreencast command would be very handy if that's doable. ;)

Because I did it for 15.04 only - I can’t create 14.10 chroot on the desktop.
It shows a error.

Can't find it in the store - which is weird, as it's listed in the
webapp version of the store. Which architecture did you publish it
under? I.e., unless it's arm, I don't think it will show up on an arm
device (phones at this stage).

I did a simple app called "Show Tutorial". Press "Tap Me" and reboot your phone. I have not phone so I can't test it if it works. If works, write here! My IndieGogo campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/support-of-ubuntu-touch-apps-development 07.03.2015, 01:15, "Nik
Looking at the source code of phablet-config, I found out that you can also
run the following command to rerun the edges intro:
dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=com.canonical.PropertyService \
/com/canonical/PropertyService com.canonical.PropertyService.SetProperty \

Would be great if there was a simpler command line option from the device -
last night when I was out with friends I didn't happen to have my laptop or
usb cable with me to show friends the gestures tutorial...

Hi everyone,
on this matter, can we make sure we show how to switch to and close apps as
well? Last time I checked the intro it was missing, and I think it's a
useful tip :)

The intro in Vivid was updated with how to switch apps, but I don't think
it mentions how to close them (might be wrong)

Hi!
At first usage after installation, the phone offers a "gestures
tutorial" or something like that.
Is it possible to do it again whenever I want?
I think it's very useful for showing off the phone ("hey, look this
awesome ubuntu phone, look, this is how you use it...").
Thanks!

Ubuntu UI Toolkit does not have anything special declared for gesture
handling. However you will find some in Qt itself. PinchArea [1] for
instance will handle you the pinch gestures, then MultiPointTouchArea [2]
will provide you additional touch handling.
Hope this helps.
