I see -- this method would not work for (auto)mounting users in general though since you have to enter the UID:GID entries in /etc/fstab. It would be better if this information could be retrieved at login. Apparently automounting linux users on Macs seems to require importing some of the apple sch

Thanks for this hint. In the thread i can find some workarounds for systems which are already installed, but I want to install a new system and have the CD/DVD-Problem with install-CD. The installer thinks, that my CD is broken and stops installing. Bye, Florian
