O VirtualBox oferece gerenciamento por linha de comando.
Mas aconselho o Virt-Manager, mas talvez tenha que compilar com suporte a vbox.
Eu utilizo Virt-Manager + KVM. Ele oferece acesso remoto por tunelamento ssh.
Funciona perfeitamente.
