I think at the moment we'll just want to attach the entire log. At some
point the log files will hopefully be more reasonably sized by turning
down debug output or such. Compression will turn 60M or so down into <
10, which isn't *too* bad.

The thing is that if you mess with linking libraries yourself (and then
rewriting some of them via package), then most times you're on your own.
I'm moving this to 'Importance' medium, but might want it to be 'high'.
This is the code path that Eucalyptus uses for EBS. EBS is suposed to
be reliable storage for cloud instances. With that dmesg output you
don't get warm fuzzy feelings about how reliable your data is.

On upgrade, I was prompted for upgrading many of nut's configuration files
since /etc/nut/* are conffiles. Specifically, the following have no reasonable
defaults in a configured nut (there may be more):

- apache, php, libapache2-mod-php5, mysql-server have been installed via
package manager (apt, adept, etc).
- then pdo and pdo_mysql were installed via pecl. pdo.ini and pdo_mysql.ini are
manuall
As a work-around, I changed:

XP booted right up.

We ship the default configuration files so it would be up to the user to
look at their settings and see how they fit int. Maybe put a note in the
README.Debian

Sorry, just to clarify: I see that 7.3.6.cvs20090906-1ubuntu2 has the
fixed version according to the comments, but this bug was reported
against karmic, so unless that gets backported, it doesn't help.
