Since I agree with Igor that it is sad we are unable to make corrections
in non-LTS versions because there are no updates, I would like to offer
my help. I have no idea how it works, but if someone who did it in the
past can guide me, I am willing to try.

If you're referring to the DDTP, we're filing a bug for every typo we see,
with package name, the string with the typo and the string as it should be.
Those bugs are then forwarded upstream and corrected.
