I signed up a few days after it opened and have not heard anything since

This is exactly what I got told for my HP laptop, and when I rang MS I
got told it was HPs problem. Unless you have the time and patients to
take this as far as possible and you document you removing XP etc. then
unfortunately I doubt you are going to get far.

Popped into my local Poundland (Nottingham) and could not find anything,
nearest thing was a no-name USB hub.
Thanks for posting this anyway, good luck to anyone else looking.

Doing that works fine for me and I think the runtime and development
packages are just separate for ease of use.

and this is the method I usually use if I have to install windows next
to a previous ubuntu install or if windows needs reinstalling and
overwrites grub.
The other option is to run windows inside a virtual machin
image hosted on the planet that you use as your little icon is too big.
To fix it just reduce the size of the image to something a little more
sensible and ask someone (popey?) to replace your image on the planet.
Hope that helps.

o 1 and 2 to Rhythmbox quite easily. The address for
the Radio 2 feed is mms://wmlive-acl.bbc.co.uk/wms/radio2/ just add that
as a radio station and it should play fine.
