Hi, I have Dell Latitude E4200 with an integrated intel graphics, latest
Karmic; I had the same problem, mouse clicks in launcher worked only in
in certain places, both in tabs and for application icons. Mouse
highlight worked ok, though.
Upgrade of only the xorg-edgers PPA
I have the same issues, also with dell d400.
I upgraded from Jaunty, where this was not an issue at all, to Karmic, where
this is a most frustrating issue.

This bug is still present on a fresh install of Karmic (9.10) on a
Lenovo W500. If you select 'Guest session' you get a blank screen, an
unresponsive machine and you have to hard reboot to recover.
