The apport hook discourages new bug reports
I ran into this issue while running Natty on VMware. More specifically:
I log in to Ubuntu Classic mode.
The theme is Ambiance as expected, but all of the icons are the unity theme
icons instead of Ubuntu-Mono. Nautilus also has the Ubuntu One icon embedded.
About 20 seconds later, the theme rever
I confirm this on Lenovo G550. No scrolling with the Touchpad. Output of xinput

Perhaps this can be fixed by changing the properties of the Nvidia
configuration tool to add the "sudo" command.

Go to system>>preferences>>main menu and search for the Nvidia settings
under Administration (or preferences, as apparently there's one there

I'm dealing with the same problem, it's really annoying, I dont remember that
happening in previous versions.
At first I thought it was something to do with screensaver. But I disabled it
and still got the same problem.

(11.04) after some fiddling around. It's better than any other version I

Want to say that it still froze a couple of times after disabling compiz, but
it happens much less now, as before it was happening constantly.
Disabled the screen saver as well, just kept power management for the screen.

If I disable nvidia, I get pixel garbage instead of the login screen. I
used jockey-text on the text console to activate nouveau, but I still
got pixel garbage. It may be due to the fact that I upgrade to Natty
instead of doing a fresh install. But I don't know.

Sorry, but I can not upgrade to natty for various reasons, so I can not test
this bug with natty.

- the GPU driver will change from VESA to intel with the upgrade.
- I still don't know how to reproduce this for sure.

compiz to version 0.9.2.1 following an article on Webupd8. After upgrade
