Yep, I'm running 11.10 at the moment. It needs the 'noapic' flag, but
apart from that, it works well.
I have attached the output of 'xrandr --verbose > xrandr.txt' from
11.10, and I will boot into 12.04 in 15 mins or so to get the output of

Even with one monitor, this continues to happen to me every couple days
at work. This morning, I wasn't even watching video, just use my web

xorg.conf settings but could not get a setting with good results.
I'm using no window manager at all! I use the User Defined Session option from
lightdm
and start XBMC from there. Without xorg.conf I
