Compiz and gome-settings crash on me about 3-5 times a day while doing
various tasks on the desktop. Clicking a indicator applet, launching the
dash or launcher or just moving the mouse. Has been ongoing for about 3
weeks now. I loose work frequently and crashes my virtual machines when
it bombs
Idem with alpha 2.
Note: 3D effects are operationnal (3D cube).

According to Intel the GMA3150 should support OpenGL 2.0. Also Mesa 8.0
should support OpenGL 2.0
But on my VPAD10 with Atom N455 glxinfo only reports OpenGL version
string: 1.4
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.17.0-1ubuntu4
I expect that most users who have this problem do not realize the
reason. Therefore for those useres a complete reinstallation of the
system is necessary. Therefore I recommend a higher priorisation of this
bug nevertheless a workaround (uninstall FGLRX driver) exists.
