After installing yesterday's Ubuntu GNOME 13.04 daily image, I had a
power indicator, but somewhere between completing the installation and
now, I've lost it. I have installed a few other applications, but
nothing I would expect to interfere. All extensions have been disable
@ #72 --- installing xserver-xorg-lts-precise package , and removing
xserver-xorg-lts-quantal, now flgrx drivers install fine on 12.04.2.

My system is still freezing. I am working with 3.9.0-rc4 and using kernel
option i915.reset=0.
The system is rebooting after 10 minutes (in most cases). But maybe I have now
some new interesting information:
I wrote a stupid script added into my crontab. The script is telling me every 3
minutes
The other option for people on Quantal is to upgrade to Raring. There's
still no fglrx, but the open source radeon driver has improved a *lot*.

I have built a kernel from the upstream mainlinekernel following this

Drat. I was hoping apport would grab the unity logs as well. In that
set, unity exits abnormally at the 27s mark (noted by the server regen
in Xorg.0.log and the dmesg.txt) but since X is still intact but with
nothing to display, it ends up black.
So far all bugs are pointing away from -intel
Ah.. It is actually dependent on the theme selected in fluxbox.
It happens only with themes that have round window corners (bora_*,
zimek_*)
