nvidia driver 319.23 in the xorg-edgers repo. Turning off hardware accel
in the flash settings brings it back to normal. I'm using gnome-shell

can easily crash X by clicking around in Software Center.
Specifically, the way I usually trigger it was by doing a search inside

Raring regression: SNA fails
I am not sure if my problem is related because I don't crash with
compiz/unity but the ALT-TAB and virtual desktop switching is buggy. The

In Ubuntu precise 12.04, the latest lib-gl1-mesa and libglapi-mesa from
xorg-edgers ppa, published on 2013-05-28, fail to install because the
packages are insisting on removing a massive number of other installed
packages, including the entire set of qt and kde applications.
The i386 builds were backed up for 4 hours so there was a period of
uninstallability until they built and published even though amd64
finished earlier, that is a risk that comes with using mesa in a ppa
unfortunately. It's fixed now if you update again because they finally
finished.
