[gm45] Hard hang when plugging, unplugging, or turning off LG
You have been subscribed to a public bug:
I have recently, re-installed fresh ubuntu 13.10 distribution release.
But everything worked fine. until recently i had strange problem of my display
screen getting freezed randomly; but no response to either mouse/keyboard.
But i want to point it out;
I confirm the problem. XUbuntu 13.04, kernel 3.8.0-25-generic.
I think this is a problem with X-server.

On kubuntu 13.04 sometimes doesnt boot properly: when I view the
messages during booting (with f12) the flow of messages stops at some
point and nothing happens for a couple of minutes. Then the kde startup
screen appears (with the harddisk icons etc) but this hangs after
indeed, this solution worked for me, too. Just to add: on my N581, the
value for full brightness is 100. So, my file looks now like this:
The file /etc/rc.local :
echo 100 /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
exit 0
Maybe this can make life easier for some others, too. Thank you
This change looks pretty big, is there any chance that we can SRU this
for precise? The reason I ask is because it's a LTS release and we have
a fair amount of hardware that is failing here:

I don't really know is it bug of nvidia. Sometimes I have the same
problem on my radeon(last was a few minutes ago), so it could be Xorg's
problem.
