wanted to upgrade my x86 12.04 to HWE Stack, I had to tweak something to
prevent the upgrade process to fail because pae feature not exposed by
the CPU. This has nothing to do with x86/x64, but instead to that non-
pae

I've installed that image to another partition and played around with it

I had a go at merging the changes from 343.22-1 in Debian experimental.

I can't test with vivid because nvidia-96 is no more supported since
precise HWE Stack and also nouveau doesn't work with the nv28m chip,
even using gnome-classic no effects.

Well, I found that it's an issue with setting the right Paths for the
right installed NVIDIA driver, in my case GT540M 2GB. (Ubuntu 14.10)
It was poiting to nvidia-current, while I have the latest installed by
default for some reason which is way greater than the current, and I've
found also that

crashes, not how your kernel isn't working.
If you have a kernel problem, please boot into a live environment via

So I was trying to follow this and get this set up on my Lenovo T440P
with a pro doc and two monitors (vga and dvi). I finally got it working
