Hi,
If you're connecting any Mir client (which Xmir is) to Unity8 (the Mir server)
then Unity8 requires the client to jump through an extra hoop:
Xmir :0 --desktop_file_hint=unity8
This is a peculiarity of Unity8. Sorry about that.

"Xmir root window" means you need to run a window manager yourself. And
I can't see any titlebar etc from a window manager in the screenshot...?
The screenshot looks correct. Just user error. Or Libertine/whatever
failed to start a WM.

Since I was going back and forth between nouveau and the proprietary
nvidia driver for testing this bug, I ended up creating this bug report
while the proprietary nvidia driver was loaded. I don't know if that

I have the box connected to the TV via HDMI.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Turn on TV
2) Boot into Linux, log into KDE
3) Turn TV off, leave computer running

power arguments, and no more setting GPU frequency caps.
