I updated kernel to 4.13.0-37-generic, and after reboot, it freezes on
the kde login screen. Even sysrq keys does not work. I rebooted again,
and be able to enter password, then it freezes again on plasma loading
screen. I finally selected 4.13.0-36-generic kernel from grub,

Display output intermittently pauses for approximately a second, causing
the system to appear "stuttery". During freezes mouse input doesn't seem
to be registered and keyboard input is repeated, as though keys are
being held down.

All the Fn keys are working (audio, mute, bright, volume and even wifi)
except for enable/disable touchpad. No display info and no effect.
PS: Fn Bright up/down takes about 3s to work the first time or if not

prescribed way is to use CTRL-SHIFT-U and then enter some numbers to
input. This doesn't do anything in the Ubuntu Bionic beta.

The problem persists with 4.15.0-13 in 18.04. Keyboard doesn't work,
touchpad doesn't work.

[ELAN 3320KD-3100] Asus T300 CHI
Cannot test right now on Ubuntu because I'm on Fedora 27 right now but
there I didn't have to apply any tweaks. The TouchPad is just working fine.
Maybe that's due to different kernel versions?
