I just updated USC to latest version and this has been fixed. I think

No nothing wrong...Its just different as the pointer have this
acceleration issue. I tried reducing the acceleration.
By default the xinput feedback for the mouse is:
accelNum is 2
accelDenom is 1
threshold is 4
I reduced acceleration, now the output is:
accelNum is 1
accelDenom is 1
threshold

Sorry for creating this confusion as I was unable to describe the issue
properly. I should have been to the point. This is what I have been
experiencing:

This is kind of hard for me to explain. With the playback I did not
notice any issue. But with the latest updated xorg, the pointer
movement always *feels* odd. By feeling I mean that I cannot notice it

OMG! I just did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.4 to find out that my

After unity 3.8.2 (already past rev. 1039) update and installation of
new fglrx from jockey, i am getting black screen, flickers and tearing

I installed fglrx from jockey update just 5 minutes back. Now Both
'Ubuntu' and 'Unity-2D' take me to unity 2d interface and there is no
