however there is a different problem which is visible when you run for
example..

I have managed to get a solution for this issue by following the below
steps
Scenario 1:
1. Set intel to UXA mode and activate radeon DRI3 using the below xorg.conf
settings
2. Restart mdm by login out and loggin in again (I have experience very slow
rendering login page - Linux mint)
3. Issue
I confirm the above findings on latest Linux Mint available kernel
4.4.0.36 however I also noticed
sudo DRI_PRIME=1 glxgears works
whereas
DRI_PRIME=1 glxgears gives a blank screen.

Had this problem for an age and found no resolution. Followed #11's
issue source and unplugged my headset and USB dongle and mouse
immediately started working perfectly. I would suggest people remove any
other input devices and see if there is a clash somewhere.

after upgrading my system to oneiric, the X11 desktop is ugly and almost
unusable, because the fonts and characters are stretched horizontally
and blurred.
I guess that the reason is a wrong/odd dpi value, because xdpyinfo says

Confirm, new kernels fix wacom touch screen, pen and eraser. But it do
it only after computer going to sleep and back.
It's really interesing:
Pure Precise works fine without getting to sleep.
Quantal with precies'es kernel require sleep before wacom get alive.
Quantal with fixed kernel require
confirm: 3.2-20, after boot wacom is inactive, going to sleep and back
(closing and opeing lid) activate wacom and touchscreen.

On Precise all three wacom devices on my Thinkpad X220 Tablet
(touchscreen, pen and eraser) works fine. After upgrade to Quantal they
are invisible on my system. xsetwacom show no devices, application in
control center show no wacom devices, but lsusb shows:

Yes I am using Unity. Not sure if you disabled Tear Free in normal or
admin mode? I had to disable it in admin mode and set the vsync setting
to On, unless application specifies also in admin mode for this
workaround to take effect.

For the workaround to work I had to run catalyst control centre as
administrator and disable tearfree. I forgot that I had that enabled and
made all the changes in the workaround to no avail. As soon as I
disabled tearfree and set vsync as per the workaround in admin mode it
worked :)
