Dell Latitude D800 notebook with: 1.4 Ghz Pentium-M, nVidia Geforce4

Currently running Lubuntu 12.04 (for the non-PAE kernel) using the
nvidia-96 driver. I had to downgrade xorg to Oneiric's version to be
able to install run nvidia-96.
Thanks, I'm away from my computer right now but I'll look into it.

Hi Patola, I'm running a notebook that uses a Pentium-M processor
(necessitates the non-PAE kernel) and an nVidia Geforce4 Ti 4200 Go (AGP
8X) video card. I've been using Ubuntu 32-bit on this notebook since Dapper
Drake, and the last Live-CD that would run properly on this computer was
8.04.4.
Looking forward to the new xorg-video-nvidia-legacy-96xx so that I can
use Precise with current xorg.

Interestingly, this problem does not occur on my Dell D800 in VBox 3.1.8

It also occurs on my obsolescent AMD Thunderbird 1.4 Ghz with the NVIDIA
