Yes, same problems after dist-upgrading it (with xserver-xorg-video-
intel 2:2.99.917+git20160325-1ubuntu1)
In syslog I see errors like this one:

I have reproduced it too, in 14.04 dock station (with display/s
connected) hangs the laptop and it doesn't even boot if it's docked. But
HDMI seems to work perfectly.
