Oops, my mistake. I made a script to disable my touchpad and set it run on startup: xinput set-prop 11 Device Enabled 0 But the id for my touchpad keeps changing, I guess based on whether I have my USB mouse plugged in or not, making 11 the id for my keyboard instead of my touchpad. ** Changed

I'm having this problem on my HP Pavilion dv7, as I did on my HP Pavilion dv6. I'm currently using Isadora 10 64-bit with kernel 2.6.35-23-generic, (and I experienced the same problem with normal Ubuntu Maverick 64-bit). I can change the brightness as normal using the fn keys and with the normal
