Solution, that worked for me: download 2.6.37-6 kernel from kernel.org,
configure (used config from 2.6.32-25 kernel), compile, create and
install deb packages (image headers); install 275.09.07 nvidia driver
for new kernel. NVRM: in this system is not supported disappeared.

Same issue with geforce 8600M GS in my Benq S41-R32 laptop.
Currently using modified 10.04 LTS (mint 9).
Tried fresh 10.10, 11.04 ubuntu installations, tried kernels 2.6.32
