some severe stutter in anything from scrolling through webpages in
Firefox to games running through xwayland. This bug is a big reason why
I currently do not use Wayland for everyday tasks.

Public bug reported:
Nouveau driver seems to be broken on standard installation of Ubuntu

The only solution is to blacklist the driver in
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf and then run:

The only way for me to be able to send this report in for the nouveau
driver module is to use the proprietary. If I switch back to xorg
version of nouveau I won't be able to use any terminal as the keyboard
stops working when the computer freezes.

Hi,
I am experiencing another version of this bug but I think it might be
related. When I resume after my computer has been asleep, the system
freezes up to 6 times. Each time lasts in about 30 seconds, then it
comes alive in a few seconds, and then another 30 seconds freeze.
I am running Ubuntu
PA as repo and has the latest driver installed. Is
this problem something you recognize from other people? I am using my
LCD only to surf the web and watch film. The mouse behaves slow...feels
like it shouldnt...
Thanks!

It seems that X works fine until I press the enter key for any reason.
Strange.
I'm also able to ssh into my box when it hangs. In Xorg.0.log this
