"modesetting" (drm) driver loaded and the xorg-server running will cause

I've had the same issue but upon waiting for kubuntu to load i wait once
it goes black enter my password and it goes into kubuntu with my screen
fully loading so i assume it would be an issue with the kdm or whatever
it is to get to the login screen.

No devices
internal hard drive from there.
The result was an install that worked, but is still not clean. There are
still distorted background colours on the toolbars. Doesn't seem to
matter what app is tried, the toolbar shows up with horizontal multi-
coloured stripes.

In fact, they became jerky again.
Also, it turns out that disabling Bailer didn't work well either.

10.04 Live CD and online upgrade from 9.1 to 10.04 both have the same

I just checked with 2.6.31-20-generic, and the problem still occurs with
i945gme. (Test run on an HP Mini 110.) Same description: with Compiz
