I can try to update the BIOS, but given that the BIOS release notes (see
below) don't mention anything regarding this, it's not likely to fix
anything. The issue disappeared for a while, but has returned in the
past month or so; I'm guess a kernel driver update fixed it, then
regressed.

I pulled apart my laptop and cleaned and re-seated the keyboard and
touchpad cables. Since then I haven't had this issue occur.

I'm getting the same problem in 15.10 on a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga S1.
Strange thing is it sometimes works fine for ages, then other times it
drops out every few seconds; enough to make it unusable.

I have recently installed 'normal' ubuntu 13.10 on a Fujitsu T5010
tablet (which is almost identical to the T4410 I initially reported this

Just done a clean install of Karmic, an apt-get upgreade used the
"Hardware drivers" to install the nvidia driver and got exactly the same
fault. This could make using twin screens awkward.

screen. But that's nothing - you should've seen the mess it made when I
tried upgrading from Jaunty! Ye Gods. Nobody QA'd that on a Ge 7300
machine for sure.

I just observed that if i go to a terminal from the X with ctrl-
alt-F1..2..etc it crashes as well. After trying to switch to a terminal
it never comes back to the X (no reaction to keyboard/mouse) and I need
to restart the machine. So it looks not only the games are affected.

After starting Openarena / Urban Terror / Tuxracer / Torcs / etc. the
system crashes completely. I see a black screen only and the only way to
recover is to restart the computer by recycling the power. It does not
