I just updated USC to latest version and this has been fixed. I think
the corresponding changelog on this issue should be this (v 4.1.23):

No nothing wrong...Its just different as the pointer have this
acceleration issue. I tried reducing the acceleration.
By default the xinput feedback for the mouse is:
accelNum is 2
accelDenom is 1
threshold is 4
I reduced acceleration, now the output is:
accelNum is 1
accelDenom is 1
threshold
Sorry for creating this confusion as I was unable to describe the issue
properly. I should have been to the point. This is what I have been
experiencing:

“full speed” when moving the mouse

I installed xorg from your PPA. The first time I tested, I did not
notice any difference in PPA version and SRU version. But then another
time, when using natty-updates, the mouse sensitivity increased
greatly. So I installed PPA version and the sensitivity came back to
normal.

I followed your instructions. I still get the odd pointer behavior.
This is kind of hard for me to explain. With the playback I did not
notice any issue. But with the latest updated xorg, the pointer
movement always *feels* odd. By feeling I mean that I cannot notice it

After I installed this update on my system, the pointer is behaving
really weird and accuracy have dropped. Every pointer movement have
become oversensitive and erratic . How can i downgrade to earlier xorg-

[natty] nvidia binary
OMG! I just did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.4 to find out that my
nVidia Quadro4 900 XGL did not have the option for proprietary drivers.
I did however notice some 3D acceleration out of the box :) but after
getting the cube going it was very glitchy :(. All i saw was a open
source experimental
This happens to me too in both unity ans classic desktop. Look at the

The screen curruption that you are talking about, I am getting that in
firefox 4 32bit version too, specially while playing flash video and with
add-on/toolbar icons (both in unity as well as classic mode).
This corruption does not happen with chromium. Also I was experiencing the
sluggishness

may be only with fglrx patch so that we can have more time for testing?

You need to install latest compiz from daily build that have a fix for
it. After installing latest compiz from daily build PPA (this version
will land in natty soon) you will not get this issue anymore. However
the entire unity interface is extremely laggy which was not the case
with unity with

I installed fglrx from jockey update just 5 minutes back. Now Both
'Ubuntu' and 'Unity-2D' take me to unity 2d interface and there is no
