running system load indicator and weather applet on my old 1.6 Gh dual
core with 2meg on precise. Endless freezes: disabled nvidia etc etc -

Also i think its trying to display gdm not freezing. You just cant ctrl
alt del out of it because it brought down your keyboard. Once gdm loads
the keyboard would normally be brought back up. You should notice, or at
