Thanks! I don't know what this means. This week the running in graphics
for this session bug arose several times on the same PC with the
difference being my OS has been amplified to KXStudio 10.04.02. No video
or audio productions have been achieved.

With a build released Jul 21, 2010 today 8-5-10 @ 18:22 I had a batchbuffer:
Input/output error
on my PC; with KubuntuStudio 10.04.1. Upon notice an update awaited me about 8
AM I updated, shut down and at 6 PM edited a document created with OO 3.2;
walked away and returned to a black screen
hope there is a pixman work around. Not sure I can competently
accomplish the task but I'd like sound to be available after working w/o
it since perhaps January 2010.

control; followed method Komputer Trulan recommended; tried a work
around, failed to do a preempt config and preempt realtime set up; then,

I cannot recall what caused the black screen. But, it was after the
update manager downloaded I believe a low latency real time kernal also
known as preempt and preempt config. I let it have time to shut down and
boot; then, I worked 9 hours some of which included attempting to get
jack control to
