Same with Lenovo X61. I try with 3.1 kernel from 11.10 to check if it

Things are better with ubuntu-12.04LTS. It seems that the pen halted
only one time after the upgrade to 12.04.
grep WW.*tylus /var/log/Xorg.*.log returns no results.

I have "upgraded" to X61. Same results with X60.
I tried the recommended python script (rotate) as mentioned in original
bug reporter and I modified the script to rotate properly the pen.

I rotate the screen with unity, but the pen is not rotated.
I rotate the pen with
xsetwacom --set "Serial Wacom Tablet eraser" rotate cw
and "reset" with
xsetwacom --set "Serial Wacom Tablet eraser" rotate 0

Still it's problem. I have occasionally access to the laptop, please be
patient for whatever you ask.
1. Laptop's TFT is fine.
2. Connected external display = weird horizontal lines on BOTH screens either
in clone mode or in "expand".
3. The fn + F7 buttons are cycle the diplay: LCD only, Externa
@daniel durand, To have X non-frozen, add the option in driver EXA as already
stated.

@Tormod Volden, yes, the system went completely frozen. No terminal, no
alt+sysreq with "stock" xubuntu-9.04, it works with EXA although
