Until today this bug is still present in my up to date Kubuntu 10.04.
A view days ago I tried the Kubuntu 11.04 beta 2: opengl works and the features
are present, but very, very slow and due to lack of performance the desktop
effects are automaticly disabled after a view seconds.

Just until now I have this bug. (including the 2.6.32-25-generic kernel and
all updates for Kubuntu 10.04.1)

lucid X crashes with dual head configuration when opengl is enabled with intel

After installing the Kubuntu kernel update (2.6.32-25-generic) the Monitor on
DVI1 stays blank.
I use a dualhead setup on DVI1 and DVI2 (1600x1200 resolution each). The DVI2
connected monitor works normal.

After about the 10th reboot it works now ... please delete this bug I
will post a new one if it happens again.

newst updates (kernel 2.6.32-22-generic).

I can confirm this bug but not on every logout. It does not matter how
many VT running, admin or not. I see a standing cursor in the upper
right corner and the keyboard does not work any more. I can ony shutdown
the computer via power-button.

Confirm this.
Former intel graphic drivers supported a maximum framebuffer size from
2048x2048. Since the new kernel based modesetting drivers were introduced the
maximum framebuffer size is 4096x4096, witch is enough for my 3200x1600 (2x
1600x1200) screen. So it doesn't

A few moments ago I booted the kubuntu 10.04-rc live CD on my first generation
MacBookAir (intel GMA 3100 - no NVIDIA graphics!) and EVERYTHING worked fine!
My Samsung Monitor (DVI1 1600x1200 res.) was set up right of the MacBook
Display (LVDS-1 1280x800). Compositing was on, all the desktop

until anything happens and I am not sure whether the bootup runs normal. All in
all bootup (grub menu until KDE Login takes 60 sec., the 8.04 kubuntu takes 45

When I turn off the multi monitor support in the systemsettings/display (there
is another bug, as I have to turn more options off and on to light up the apply
button) and turn off all desktop effects it works ... but without any desktop
