Until today this bug is still present in my up to date Kubuntu 10.04. A view days ago I tried the Kubuntu 11.04 beta 2: opengl works and the features are present, but very, very slow and due to lack of performance the desktop effects are automaticly disabled after a view seconds. -- You

@Paul David Johnson Confirm this. Former intel graphic drivers supported a maximum framebuffer size from 2048x2048. Since the new kernel based modesetting drivers were introduced the maximum framebuffer size is 4096x4096, witch is enough for my 3200x1600 (2x 1600x1200) screen. So it doesn't
