Using ssh to get into this sick box i was able to issue X -config and
suddently the screen on the sick machine gave me a terminal log in screen, I
was told that a new xorg.conf.new file was in my /home/wirechief , after
fumbleing around i finally got the screen reset and am now able to login

suite made for intel graphics performance, something generic enough that
all who use it will have something more reliable to report on than
glxgears then benchmarking of good vs bad performance would be easier..
