I'm also experiencing slight short lockups approx every once in a minute
when keyboard stops responding and mouse cursor stops moving (easily
reproduced by moving cursor slowly in curcular pattern, after several
circles it just 'hangs' and stops moving for a second, t
Ok D'oh... for me it was the "Secure Attention Key" feature of Trinity (KDE3)
KDM.. somehow the "tsak" background process was b0rked with the last upgrade to
kdebase-trinity-bin-3.5.13-2debian0~pre49+9 .. thankfully it can be disabled.

havvve this and it is a reeal issu as i use

If the kernel hangs, it might look like a key is stuck, but that doesn't
mean it's a xorg bug.
For now I'm hesitant to call it a xorg bug, as the few times I've seen
similar behavior were the result of the kernel.
