2. Get the sources: apt-get source fglrx

I've downloaded your patch and applied it to the source code of
`fglrx-updates-core` (or `fglrx-installer`) and created deb's file from the
patched source code. I got 4 deb files and installed them and.. it works!

Also running Wily with GPU Radeon HD7870 (Pitcairn), and see what
appears to be the same issue as OP.
I have found that force compiling fglrx-core with gcc 4.9 seems to
resolve the issue for me, but unfortunately I don't know why.
In any case, I will attach the patch against fglrx-installer that
