Sure, I can do that if it doesn't matter that:
1. That is "normal" Ubuntu, not Ubuntu Gnome.
2. I'll run it from a live USB.
Will all the conditions still be there to be sure that if Totem in full
screen doesn't crash Xorg there it will not do it in my real life
scenario either?
Thanks for
Woops, sorry didn't notice you also asked about the video driver. Here
is the output of lspci -v:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Haswell-ULT Integrated
Graphics Controller (rev 09) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Subsystem: CLEVO/KAPOK Computer Device 8400
forteller, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.
Could you please run the following command once from a terminal as it will
automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:
apport-collect -p xorg 1531316
Please ensure you have the package
apport information

** Description changed:
I tried reporting this to Totem[1], but they assured me this is an issue
with X.
I've tried playing both mkv and avi files in Totem in a almost totally
newly installed Ubuntu Gnome 15.10 64 bit,
Thanks, could you provide details on your video card and driver? Adding
your xorg log and a backtrace of the issue could also be needed
