Just got bitten by this bug after upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic (64bit on a MacBook Pro 3.1). In 9.04 I had Keyboard Layout Options Key to choose 3rd level Right Win activated, which made the right Apple (command) key act as modifier for @|{}#... In 9.10 this stopped working. I can map it

Ok, just tested it with Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 2 live Desktop. You can switch the keyboard to Apple MacBook/MacBook Pro (Intl) without getting any error message. What a progress after a year! However, there is still no @ sign by default. Also, I did not manage to configure it by defining a Third Level
