With KMS I never had this problem. Upstream said it worked by sheer
accident, but now then are feeding the real patches to upstream. I don't
think we need to track this any more.

your last comment on the upstream bug was a bit uncertain whether it was

For the record, this still happens with the latest -intel/UXA/KMS
versions.

Hi, I seem to be getting this bug on my Acer Asipre One. When using an
external VGA monitor with the internal LVDS display disabled it always
happens within about 15 minutes. If I run dual head with both displays
enabled it does not seem to happen, although I have only run for about 4
hours that wa
I happen to have a MSI Wind U120 and I don't observe this behaviour in the
internal LCD. On my EEE BOX I am bothered with the flickers and black screen.
May be it is just a problem when using the external monitor ??
