The xorg.conf file was created by the aticonfig --init command. The catalyst application is unable to set a virtual resolution and keeps hanging up. Overall the the functionality of the application is somewhere around 70% working on this machine. If you want to close this bug I am fine with that.

Hi Timuckun, I notice that you have an xorg.conf which is setting the virtual resolution, and your Xorg.0.log indicates it's discarding a lot of possible resolutions because it's unable to fit them in. Please try moving your /etc/X11/xorg.conf aside, which should resolve the issue. Since it soun
